Dangerous pertruding metal grille

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6513594.

This grille keeps being hit by vehicles and coming out over a period of 18 months. Yesterday(24th) it was hit again and as the picture shows is now bent out of shape. The metal corner is dangerous and could burst a tyre of injure someone's foot. Needs urgent repair.

  • It has burst a tyre - mine. When parking my car in the allotted area this afternoon (about 1440) my tyre exploded and this section was dislodged upwards. Chris from Keynshan Hardware quickly came out from his shop to explain that this section of the grill was still loose and riding up and that it must have protruded into the road and caused my tyre damage. I very slowly drove to Kwik Fit where it cost me £147-84 for a new tyre and tracking. You owe me that money for the damage to my car.
