The drain is blocked on the lower part of A37 opposite and up from entrance to Gillets Hill Lane.
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 11:25, Thursday 26 September 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6518510.
Water is bubbling up from the drain onto the road, causing a flood on the road, standing surface water which is running down to local road. This is making it almost impossible for pedestrians to walk along the pavement without getting soaked from passing vehicles. The man hole cover on the left hand side going south bound was also overflowing yesterday.

We saw workmen with what looked like drain suction equipment, the water was reported to be smelling when flowing down the road.
Workmen have gone, problem remains, if not worse, please advise if returning to fix before next rain and prevent water spraying pedestrians and flowing down local roads.
