Very large trees

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 19:39, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 13 hours, 5 minutes later. Council ref: 6535295.

The two trees at the entrance to Hillside Crescent from Hillside Avenue, Midsomer Norton are very large and overhang the width of the pavements and road on both sides. The pavements are very slippery because of the fallen leaves etc. Also no sunlight can penetrate onto the road so it is very dangerous in snow and icy conditions. Could these trees be cut back or could a grit bin be provided?
