Buddleia in stonework of Bridge

Reported via desktop in the Removal of Weeds category anonymously at 11:21, Sunday 13 October 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6608533.

The North Parade Bridge has not long been refurbished but there is still Buddleia, and may be other plants, which if left unchcked, may enter and/or create cavities in the stonework structure of the bridge and led to costly damage. A low cost application of herbicide from an appropriately qualified contractor should work. This has been a persistent problem for many years.
