Three overgrown birch trees behind 35 Martock Road

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 11:40, Wed 30 October 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6675381.

There are three large (30m) birch trees in the small triangle of greenspace behind 35 Martock Rd. They have grown quite large and haven't been cut back for the last 10 years or so. They overhang number 35 slightly and there is a path into the community woodland which passes beneath them so they do pose a risk to people walking by.

Could the council please consider taking their height down a bit? They have been swaying dramatically in the wind and could do with a trim back. If not, could they please be inspected for safety as if they are safe, I am happy for them to be kept at the height they are currently at. If they have been inspected recently, could you please let me know when that was?
