Road leading from snow hill turning into Bennett’s lane

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 17:44, Monday 4 November 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6694232.

Hi there The public pavement on the outside of snow hill as you turn into Bennett’s lane has overgrown thorn filled brambles. Walking from atelier nursery down the hill to access London road/tyning lane. There is also no street lighting. This evening my 3 year old was walking on the pavement and got caught up in brambles that are completely unnoticeable given lack of street lighting in that area by 5pm. This has left my daughter with scratches on the inside of both legs and her with thorns in her legs and me with thorns in my hands from untangling her. This is super dangerous given the amount of children using this pavement and where it is located right by a nursery.
