I have to walk on road as there is rubbish on pavement. The red plastic barrier has been there for months attached to the metal cover.they have no regard for pedestrians

We have raised the issue of the red barrier with our highways team and they have advised that this relates to work that needs to be undertaken by BT, they have chased this up with contacts at BT to request resolution. Recycling and waste from some of the flats above shops Southgate Street will be presented here on collection days (Thursday). We have sent reminder letters to the relevant properties to request that waste containers are returned to the properties following collection.
