Potholes at far end of Broadmoor Lane between The Cowshed and Westbrook stables.

Reported via mobile in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 09:52, Thursday 7 November 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6704472.

This area of road has not been resurfaced in over 22 years. A recent development at Weston Springs Farm has seen a significant increase in heavy traffic which has created potholes. Grit has been put in the potholes by the perpetrators - however whenever there is heavy rain the grit simply washes into the drains and then blocks them which then contributes to further surface deterioration. The extent and depth of the potholes causes problems for walkers, riders, and cyclist’s especially at dusk because of a lack of street lights - which is dangerous. The potholes need to be remedied and the general road surface needs to be upgraded. Thank you
