Blocked drains and broken outflow pipe

Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 17:13, Mon 18 November 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6757560.

Thank you for clearing some of the drains on this lane and filling some of the main potholes. However several of the drains do not take any water off the road as they are totally blocked and need jetting - I cannot clear them manually as they are totally full of mud and gravel. Obviously this results in road flooding issues after heavy or persistent rain. Also the pipe that takes the water from the last drain on the corner under the lane then across a field to the stream is in a terrible state - broken and in bits so that the water cannot get away from the lane resulting in flooding of the lane, our front gate and driveway. Unless this is sorted severe flooding may occur to ur property.
