Flooding outside of cemetery

Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 11:53, Monday 25 November 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6780962.

The road outside the cemetery is flooded due to heavy rain and water level yet again. There is no drain in this location on the road. This is causing issues with traffic driving on the wrong side of the road , which could result in an accident. Subsequently the water is being dispersed into the cemetery, especially if vehicles are travelling at the speed limit but not slowly down due to the hazard. This is an on going problem when there is heavy rain and causes issues within the cemetery where we have installed soakaways and drainage to mitigate as much flooding as possible. This is also causing distress to the bereaved families and visitors to the cemetery.
