Extreme hazard to cyclists
Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 16:17, Thursday 28 November 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6797356.
The cycle lane road markings on the approach to the roundabout have faded to such an extent that motorists frequently cut across the dedicated cycle path as they approach the round about. Curbstones to separate cars and cyclists on the approach to the junction would be a better solution to painted markings as the reason for faded road markings is that motorists routinely cut across the cycle lane as they approach the round about.
