Hole in pavement covered by plastic

There has been a hole in the pavement on the corner of Lansdowne View for months, roadworks finished about 6 months ago, but the hole in the pavement remains, it has been covered by a big piece of plastic, but this is getting very slippy in the wet weather, and there is still clearly a big hole underneath it, which keeps getting exposed as buggies and wheelchairs go over the plastic
