This is a recurring problem with a loose manhole cover. It has been repaired before but since the resurfacing of the highway in May this year, the problem is worse than ever. The manhole cover is directly in line with the traffic flow, meaning that virtually every vehicles driving over it make a loud clanking noise which is both annoying and disturbing to nearby residents. Please can you finally fix this. Thank you. Please note that there is also another loose manhole cover on the northern approach to the mini roundabout which also makes a clanking sound when vehicles drive over it - not so loud, but it will be soon if not repaired!.
