Manhole not fixed securely and makes a loud noise as cars drive over it. Its in the road just off the junction between Hurn Lane and Wellsway, on the northbound side.

The manhole cover is not fixed down securely, or is a bad fit, and therefore every time a vehicle drives over it it losens it and makes a loud bang. It has been like this for a number of months now and is very disrupting. Please could it be fixed as its driving me a little crazy!

  • Hello, please can I have an update on this issue? It's been over 2 months since I reported it and I haven't heard when it will be resolved. I still hear banging from this drain cover day and night. When is it due to be fixed?

    This is waking my family up at 6am every day please can this man hole cover be corrected. This is an easy fix as all it needs is for the covers to be lifted, grooves cleaned and replaced. Simple .
