Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 13:22, Tue 3 December 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6814229.
One bollard is insufficient to stop vehicles driving on the pavement as you can see in these photos. Please put planters, a barrier or lots of bollards to stop the traffic using the pavement as a road. It is dangerous for pedestrians, wheelchairs, pushchairs and dogs, especially when we are trying to get out of our house. One day one of our dogs or grandchildren will open the door and get run over by a car driving on the pavement outside our front door. This has been going on for years and a lorry even crashed into our house recently; the traffic her has got a lot worse since lockdown ended. We are getting very anxious and concerned about it.
