Investigating
Ford at Conegyr brook
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category by Bruce Clarke at 14:32, Tue 17 December 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6872994.
The pipework that takes the brok under the road is blocked. This causes the water to flow over the road surface, recently at up to 300 mm deep. This presents a severe danger to pedestrians and road users as it is dangerous to wade through such deep water. Whilst the level has receded the problem persists. Now the road tarmac has been lited in places as well so repair will become more costly.

Is there any update as to when this might be dealt with? There is still a lot of water pouring over the road which is likely to cause substantial damage to the surface.
