Fencing fallen away

Reported via desktop in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 11:07, Tue 24 December 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6896117.

On the way up from Alexandra Road towards Alexandra Park, going past the paved steps to the next section, the fencing on the right hand side as you are going up has fallen away/been removed. I am not sure if this was to gain access to the land adjacent to the path or indeed who is responsible for the railings. Either way the gap in the railings constitutes a hazard and the length is not even marked off with warning tape. Grateful if you could investigate and if you are responsible repair, or, if the adjacent landowner is rresponsible then request them to effect immediate repair.

  • Viewing the site today the railing is still down and I am wondering when you will inspect as the fallen rails are a safety issue.

  • Another health and safety issue , which needs to be repaired asap. It's very dangerous and it's important to prioritize this issue. I would like to know time scale when this will be sorted.
