The problem stretches from Gothic Cottage to The Dell on Church Lane
Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 17:03, Friday 10 January 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 days, 17 hours, 6 minutes later. Council ref: 6963217.
I received an email today to say that the issue has been resolved and fixed but as you can see from the photos I took this afternoon the problem is worse than ever and nothing has been done to address it even though I have been reporting it for months. There is a large build up of mud and leaves along the lane and as there is no pavement it makes it very hazardous for pedestrians and vehicles who are in very close proximity. Now Prior Park Landscape Garden have opened their entrance gate on Church Lane there is a large increase in walkers and vehicles down the lane adding to the risk of skidding and slipping. The issue is far from fixed. The lane is becoming like a derelict farm track. Please can you resolve the situation and clear away the mud and debris. It is an accident waiting to happen.

Please clear the mud and leaves so that pedestrians are safe to make use of the edges of the road - there are no pavements or verges along this stretch of narrow and bendy lane and when a van approaches you have little choice but to climb onto slippery mud to get out of their way.
