Dangerous - Hollow road surface removed without any warning signs in place.

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 00:09, Tue 11 February 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7115270.

Today with BANES staff in attendance a trench was dug accross the steep section of the Hollow opposite the entrance for the new houses. In addition the road surface has been removed (where the old build out was) so that a proper more durable re surfacing can be achieved. The east side of the carriage was has been left with surface removed, gravel, pot holes etc without any warning signs being put in place. A danger to motorists especially cyclists and motor cyclists.

  • Regards my "Hollow" post - Council ref: 7115270. - I can see that warning signs are in place albeit some way away from the area concerned. The area remains dangerous however.
