Verge damage and flattened bollards on the boundary of Penridge Break and Slate Lane, on the bend..

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 12:28, Thursday 20 February 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7162245.

Slate & Peppershells Lanes are not suitable for HGVs. However, an HGV has flattened the bollards and caused extensive verge damage, travelling from Slate to Peppershells Lane. It was clearly far too wide for the lane and has driven over them and our verge to force its way around a 90 degree corner.

The bollards need replacing (with super-strong concrete ones if possible) and a more prominent "STRICTLY NO HGVs" sign placed at either end of the Lanes.
