Plantation of trees along side of road

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7260514.

A few years ago, we were offered the option to have a tree planted outside our property (to help with noise and air pollution on the busy A4). We missed the deadline to opt in for the tree which we've been kicking ourselves about ever since as there is a gap in the uniform trees planted and we would like to do our bit for the environment. I just spoke to a lovely tree surgeon who was re-planting a tree that had died along the stretch of trees and he suggested that I contact the council to ask for one to be planted. Please would it be possible to plant a tree outside our house, like the others that have been planted.
