Blocked public footpath by builder's fencing

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category by Christopher Saunders at 20:49, Tuesday 1 April 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7373172.

The public footpath adjacent to the Shell petrol station, Elm terrace, A367, Radstock BA3 3UR. If you follow the footpath down to the end, the builders have blocked the kissing gate with a wire fence, making it impossible to get through. Friday 31st the path was blocked with with large bricks Mon blocked, I informed the workmen that they were blocking the gate with bricks and as a disabled person unable to access the footpath due to gate bening blockedby thierwirefence. No response. On Tuesday at around 4pm no change! I informed 2 workmen regarding the issue and they responded with a thumbs up! From a distance. I then went to their offices and reported to the lady on reception. She said she would inform the site manager. I will follow-up as I use the path daily with my 2 dogs
