The ongoing problem with street lighting in this area is now significantly worse. There are no street lights in Nash Close, Reynolds Close, Gainsborough Road and only one or two working lights in Gaston Avenue at this very busy section.

  • We can confirm that there is a power supply issue with these lights and the fault has been reported to National Grid. We await their attendance and feedback and shall add further information here when known.

  • We understand that the majority of lights should now be working and there is still an issue with 005 Gaston avenue and 1 light in Lytton Grove.

  • We can confirm at 9am Wed 16th just two lights were out, these being 005 Gaston Avenue and 001 Lytton Grove.

    National Grid are aware of this as the problem lies within their power network.

    We will provide updates as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and patience while this issue is resolved.
