Bins overflowing

Reported via desktop in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 18:43, Thursday 10 April 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7418356.

I reported one of these bins yesterday. Nothing has been done. It is worse today. Rats will be attracted to the rubbish. Litter is being blown all over our lovely park.

  • These bins were eventually emptied. However the problem persists. Overflowing bins and the subsequent problems they cause are clearly not a priority got the council (BANES), at least in Royal Victoria Park. It is interesting and perhaps revealing to note that this never occurs in front of the Royal Crescent!
