Buses causing road damage and shaking houses

Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 07:23, Friday 11 April 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7419319.

I have serious concerns around the double decker buses that drive along Napier Road.

Every time the bus goes past, my house violently shakes. This wakes us all up (including my 5 year old son) between the hours of 0600 - 2330 when the buses run. Lots of my neighbours report similar problems.

In addition, the buses are causing significant damage to the roads with recurring potholes and gravel across the roads (very unsafe for cyclists).

I would like the buses to either stop running down Napier Road or changed to single decker.

Best wishes
