The roadworks by the canal bridge are blocking access to our property. My mother has carers four times a day and they can't get here. I'm also reliably informed that the men working on the road were rude to our cleaner when she was trying to access our property.

There are roadworks blocking access to Canal Path/Tyning Road. My semi paralysed 97 year old mother has carers visiting 4 times a day. We also have a cleaner who was just denied access by the workmen.
Why has this been allowed to happen? We have not been warned or offered alternative access. When will the work be completed?

It's Sunday at 11.27 and I've just heard that our Morrisons delivery can't reach us because the road is closed. They can't come via the Tollbridge because the van's too heavy. Our essential delivery of food etc can't reach us. This is outrageous
