Dangerous Road

As per other comments Welton Road is a dangerous road to use, particularly for pedestrians. Many attempts have been to secure a resolution to the speed and volume of traffic that uses this road to no avail. At the moment the road surface is very poor in places due to the amount of traffic that uses it on a daily basis. It seems that there is a vow of silence from the council, councillors and other public utilities when it comes to getting something done about the problem. Banes has done a lot about low traffic neighbourhoods in other areas, can something be done her? A visit from the council's highways team would be a good start. Maybe our constituency MP should be involved as well.
