Greenfly Issue on Nightingale Way

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 09:38, Monday 14 April 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7431063.

The trees on the green area in front of 84-88 Nightingale Way have a lot of greenfly on the leaves. These flies are spreading onto the gardens and plants of the residents as well as their cars. Please can these greenfly be treated to prevent this.

Updates

  • Please can you treat the trees on the council owned plant areas, or cut them to remove the swarm of greenfly. They are all over my property - front porch, balcony, plants/pots in my front garden and my post box, and car.

The green fly are on all the trees from 88 down to 76. I noticed the greenfly in the summer last year on my porch, front of my property, now it’s 100 times worse.
