You have trees growing out of the wall between North Road and Free Fields.
Reported via desktop in the Removal of Weeds category anonymously at 12:00, Fri 25 April 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7480377.
The trees growing out of the wall are threatening the integrity of the wall which may collapse onto users of the road, and also restrict the view of vehicles approaching the pedestrian crossing.

Large weeds and trees are still growing in verge and sticking out into highway reducing the width of the road posing a risk to cyclists. These need clearing as they are also blocking the drainage channel which causes the road to flood in heavy rain.

Thank you for your report an instruction has been issued to prune back the overhanging canopies and vegetation in order the wall can be inspected. The weeds on the road are being dealt with by the council's Cleansing Team ref report 7766360.

I thought I should report these weeds/saplings as it seems dangerous for people and cars exiting Rainbow Woods and is most unsightly and like a scene from “The Last of Us” TV series.I notice the same complaints have been made by others but nothing has been done. This is a rapidly growing problem in Bath and the cessation of glyphosate use looks a big mistake and expensive virtue signalling when Bath does not have the staff and resources to control weed and sapling growth effectively. Please reconsider this policy and clear these road side jungles. Thank you.

Is the council able to give an update on the above Cleansing Team ref report 7766360? It has been 5 months and the vegetation has grown more! It has still not been resolved and is posing a risk to pedestrians by blocking the view of the crossing. When it rains the road now floods due to the gutter being blocked by the vegetation.
