Community Speedwatch Have highlighted the following: they state:
Reported via desktop in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 10:49, Thursday 8 May 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7539018.
This is a 20mph road with currently 20mph Terminal signs at each end. However, there are no 20mph repeater signs or road roundels anywhere along its length.
The requirement is for there to be at least one, but it also needs to provide ‘adequate’ guidance to drivers so, in this case I feel it would need at least 2 – one either side of the dog-leg bend.
THIS IS A ROAD SAFETY ISSUE AS IDENTIFIED BY THE COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH TEAM
