Bus stop signs pointing wrong way

Reported via mobile in the Bus stop or shelter issue category anonymously at 10:21, Sat 24 May 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7612476.

If this dilapidated busstop has to remain, the bus stop sign itself should a) point towards the centre of the road and b) the timetable board be rotated to face the road verge area between the grit bin and post box that a mobile pedestrian can stand on to read it - otherwise what is its purpose?

While doing that a clean and rust repair job would be sensible.

  • The most logical place for this stop is in my mind as I have said before is at the foot of Rag Hill bend where there is WIDE pavement for waiting and where it is GRITTED.

Alternatively a stop could be introduced on St Julian’s Rd (a GRITTED ROUTE) to be more centrally placed within the Parish and easily serve the SCHOOL.
