Unsightly weeds in square
Reported via mobile in the Removal of Weeds category anonymously at 18:43, Monday 9 June 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7684462.
The weeds in this are becoming invasive and unsightly. Unfortunately the area becomes a dumping ground for fly tipping & rubbish if it becomes unkempt. Some residents have experienced flooding in basements, possibly due to blocked drains choked with weeds.

To be clear: the picture is of the pavement behind St James' St, near the Dolly Tub.

I would also like to report this area which is becoming unsightly and although previously reported no removal of weeds has been made. As this is part of an historic area with the blue plaque of Charles Dickens just the other side of this area, many tourists visit and this does not give a good representation of the area. There is also fly tipping at an unused MJ CHURCH industrial bin that has been left untended for over five years. One can only imagine what waste is festering in there and will obviously become an environmental issue. I look forward to seeing this area being fixed!
