Resurfacing pavement

Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:12, Tuesday 10 June 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7690964.

For the last four weeks no parking cones have been in place in all of Apsley Road. Last week work started to resurface the footpath. The contractors had painted ares of the footpath where utility facilities exist and scored the surface where entrances to houses are. It is an absolute mess and where Apsley Road joins Newbridge Road it is restricted to one lane due to barriers closing the pavement. The work appears to have stopped and no contractors have been on site. What is going on?
