Numerous potholes from a point outside Noahs Arc Nursery to a point past the enterance to the reservoir in Farrington Road
Reported via mobile in the Potholes & road surface category by Keith Mortimer at 21:17, Friday 4 July 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7804751.
These potholes have been reported numerous times, some patched (numerous times) and some not touched at all, despite first reports being raised in Feb 2025. I now believe the "Surface Dressing" work is due to be undertaken July/Aug 2025. I am no authority, but the very description of "Surface Dressing" is to spray binder then coat with chippings. No mention of repairing potholes in the precess.

Thank you for your enquiry.
The defects repaired were due to them being at the councils intervention level as sharp edged depressions greater than 40mm in depth and 300mm in any direction. Any others not touched were due to them not reaching the councils intervention level. We can also confirm this road is not being surfaced dressed but a full resurface will be undertaken.
