I drove through Bishop Sutton today, and the speed signage is little short of shambolic. As well as the item mentioned above, as you go west out of the village on the A368, at one point there is a (new) 40mph repeater (small) sign on the left hand side of the road, and the old 50mph large sign is still there on the right hand side of the road. A bit further on, the road sign says 40mph, but the roundel painted on the road says 50mph!

I drove through Bishop Sutton today and the speed limit signs on the A368 are still completely confusing. A significant number of the 30mph repeater signs are still in place despite the introduction of the new 20mph speed limit and its associated signage. This must render the 20 mph limit unenforceable. I try to stick to the speed limit but this situation makes it difficult and stressfull to do so. It must be fixed urgently.
