Dangerous junction

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 20:56, Friday 4 July 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7811390.

There is inadequate signage/road markings to ensure that vehicles proceeding straight on from George St onto the Paragon do not cut across the path of vehicles turning left from George St onto Lansdown Rd. Pretty much every time I try to turn left the vehicle in the right line proceeding straight on cuts across my path, nearly causing a collision. Today I nearly had to mount the kerb to avoid someone going straight on. Road markings showing the correct line on the road to take going straight on would be a simple and cheap way of preventing vehicles straying into the lane of vehicles turning left.
