Dropped kerb and pavement at access to my garage in bad repair
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 00:51, Saturday 5 July 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7811826.
I reported this issue along with the problem of mounting the kerb to access both my garage and the directly adjacent parking space on my property. The surveyor came out and I happened to see him as he’d just finished marking up only of the two reported issues, the parking space and not the garage; he said only the parking space and not the garage had been added to the job sheet but that he’d be undertaking scheduled surveying in the Haycombe Drive area the following week and would try to ensure the issue of the problematically high kerb and damaged pavement directly in front of my garage would be included and reported for repair. Last week I was away when the works to the area were undertaken and only the first issue was fixed, meaning access to my garage is still difficult and the kerb and pavement need replacement so I can properly access the garage. Please can you arrange for this dropped kerb and damaged pavement to be repaired.
My address is 154 The Hollow, BA2 1NF but the garage is at the back of the property in Haycombe Drive (opposite the back of 251 HD).
