Dead branch overhanging footpath and parking area

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 16:45, Wed 30 July 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7955994.

A mature Horse Chestnut has a large branch with significant deadwood overhanging the public footpath and nose-to-tail parking in Royal Victoria Park. I am very concerned that if the branch broke off it could cause harm or worse to park users. I understand (from previously working with professional tree officers) that Horse Chesnuts have a tendency to be very brittle, so as the deadwood has been present for some time, a prompt check would be appreciated. Thank you.
