Loose memorial bench in Hedgemead Park

A sponsored memorial bench in Hedgemead Park is loose and in danger of being tipped over or removed (as has happened to other benches). The bench is a few metres south of the park’s bandstand and its ground anchors are no longer adequate to securely hold it in place. The bench sponsor is understandably very concerned that the bench might be stolen.
