Most drains full of material along the road
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 12:57, Tue 2 September 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 1 hour, 40 minutes later. Council ref: 8108300.
Many of the drains on the upper part of Lansdown Rd are full of stones and soil, they are therefore not functioning at all. On Thursday the 28th August there was a heavy but not torrential shower for a limited period of time. Even with this relatively small amount of rain, a large volume of water flowed down the gutter of Lansdown rd and into College Rd. This large flow spilled over down the driveway of Beaumont Place flats and caused considerable damage. I imagine that with a really heavy downpour the situation would be much worse. Please can the drains be cleared on Landsdown rd Many thanks
