Tree branches overhanging my gards

Hi B&NES

I live at 14 Egerton Road BA2 2DP. There are two large tree branches overhanging my garden, from trees along the cycle path, and, given we are coming to the end of the growing/nesting season, I was wondering if they could be removed before the next growing season (please).

They are located on the south face of the cutting along the cycle path on the former railway.
