Hole dug in pavement exposing wires, covered with wood

Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:31, Wed 3 September 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 8113431.

10 days ago, a hole was dug in the pavement outside our house, we didn't see who did it, but presumably a service company or cable company. The concrete has been removed and the hole covered with a piece of wood and 3 planks. The hole is quite deep and there are exposed pipes and electrics. Vans come up and down and the wood gets moved every day. It is deep and unsafe. With all the rain, the pipes and electrics may also get damaged. I have to replace the wood over the hole every day so someone doesn't get injured. It needs fixing ASAP.
