Bollards required on dangerous corner

Reported via iOS in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 16:50, Thu 4 September 2025

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8120316.

I can’t find an appropriate category for this post but can I request that bollards are placed on this corner. The photos show where a stoneworker has spent several days recreating the stone wall of this property after a delivery van took the corner badly (and too fast) and wrecked the corner of the wall and gate post. It was all over the pavement! The stoneworker said this happens frequently in Bath on vulnerable corners and I know how fast traffic drives down this narrow lane. Please please put some bollards on the corner to avoid this happening again. I have seen traffic drive over the pavement on the opposite corner too. We had to report broken BT ‘lids’ where they had been smashed by vehicles cutting across the pavement at that corner to avoid traffic build up. I hope by installing bollards traffic - and particularly delivery vans will be forced to slow down. They also sometimes forget there is a pavement at the bottom of this lane with vulnerable pedestrians crossing.
