This has been here for over 6 months, never moved, not a vehicle, not used as a bicycle. Blocks a much needed parking space and is an eyesore. It’s just been dumped here. Please remove or is it legal to have a storage shed in the road now as I will get one and stick wheels on it.

Following our investigation, the registered keeper has confirmed that the item in question is not abandoned. As such, we are unable to take further enforcement action under the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act. However, we acknowledge your concerns regarding its impact on the public highway. We have referred your enquiry to the Highways Department, as the matter may fall under obstruction regulations. They will assess whether any further action is appropriate. They will carry out any further work needed. Sometimes it can take a little longer as a result.
