3 street lights out

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8394383.

Three street lights, marked 08, 09 and 10, not working on west side of the river between Echo Bridge and the railway in Keynsham Memorial Park.

This is dark area of the park, well away from the road and a major short cut for commuters accessing the railway station. As such good lighting reduces risk on dark nights.

Updates

  • The control point which feeds these lights has been switched on, which at present has left the lights on constantly.

    We are investigating the control point issue with a view to overcoming the fault and which eventually will allow the lights to switch on and off as normal.

    As regards light number 8 by the bridge ( currently not working) we suspect this will need a lantern check / repair and we shall also be looking into this further.
