Flooding caused by leaf litter over drain

The drains on Englishcombe lane, right outside the pedestrian steps down from Marsden Road become blocked with huge amounts of leaf litter and flood every time it rains heavily over Autumn/Winter. This is incredibly dangerous as it is in a natural dip in the road, on a bend, and hard to see the flooding int he dark. This has caused cars to aquaplane and crash into the wall in the past. It also means that pedestrians have to walk through ankle deep water to get past, which is not always accessible for those in a wheelchair and/or with a pram. They also risk being splashed and soaked with water from passing cars. This happens every year and could easily be avoided if the council regularly collected the leaf litter along this stretch of road and pavement.
