Roadworks issues

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8539847.

The roadworks are causing absolute chaos at school times. Why were they permitted during the week during term time when this is the only road to and from Trinity primary school? Also, why were there no signs up beforehand giving advance notice?
