Reported via mobile in the Potholes & road surface category by Steven Smith at 12:57, Friday 9 January 2026
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8656602.
Dear team. This particular Pothole has been present for perhaps 6 months or more in a shallow state, but the recent rainfall has caused it to depend to 30-40mm and deepening now rapidly. Moorledge lane and Moorledge road have many potholes so worth a trip. Let me know if you'd like me to count the number of other potholes in th vicinity and take more photos. I've picked the one on the road outside my door here as a significant example. This lane is used as a commute cut through and so it's likely an unsuspecting vehicle will be damaged. If I get chance I'll drop some type 1 stone in myself as an interim but as we both know that will only wash out or be driven out without a tarmac covering. Kind regards, Steve
