St Chads Green Light not working next to car park

This was originally reported on 18th November and the report has now been closed however the light still doesn't work. The exact light not working is shown in the attached picture. Due to the nature of the people who use this area it is very important to be fixed.

This is a growing concern of safety of the amount of footfall that goes in this area. With the light not working, it is very dark on the entrance to the car park and the crossing.

We are sorry for the delay in repair of this light. The column requires a new power supply and we are making arrangements for this work to take place. We are sorry this has taken some time but unfortunately this is not a straight forward repair.
We shall add further information here when known.

Further to above, we have instructed our contractors to connect a power supply to this light and asked them to attend as soon as they can. We are sorry for the delay.
