A worker has shovelled away some of the soil but the fact remains, about a foot of the bank has been destroyed for a long section adjoining the road. Very much an eyesore. The road is not fit for heavy wide construction vehicle. I do expect this bank to be reinstated in the near future.

Associated with the destroyed bank is the large amount of soft wet clay material now forming a slippery layer across and covering the road surface on the downward slope past the construction site. Very unsafe walking in this area nowadays. What a muddy mess all round the site.

When the council approved the demolition and approval for construction of new building was a risk assessment put in place to consider risk to pedestrians, damage caused by road use by diggers, lorries approaching and general mud surrounding the site ? There is potential accident waiting to happen to parked cars, pedestrians on way to and back from St Stephen's primary school, never mind the damage done to the road itself and verge.

I'm a bit puzzled why the category has changed to "overgrown vegetation" ( sounds like a downgrade )
Why is a team not investigating the destruction of the roadbank, danger to pedestrians and car users including danger to parked cars with daily use of heavy construction vehicles ?
The council has approved the work being done. Surely there should be regular weekly visits to check that problems are being addressed to avoid risks school parents/ children face ( twice daily ) or residents ?

I've added new pic to show cracks in the road ( a 40 yard stretch )
I'm assuming that at some point this will be put right ?
